Food Drive – 1st Sundays – “Fill the Brat”
On the first Sundays of every month, our church collects food for the local food bank. We call it “Fill the (Subaru) Brat” to the brim with food. We often have several families, who are not connected with the church, but are a part of the community, drop by with large bags of food. Thank you to all for your faithfulness!
Our church’s Deacons collect donations. Please place items on the table in the entry to the Fellowship Hall and they will be delivered to the Food Bank.
What to donate:
Canned Soups ~ Canned Fruits ~ Canned Beans – like Kidney, Black, Chili ~ Peanut Butter ~ Canned Vegetables (like Corn, Green Beans) ~ Dried Beans ~ Canned Tuna Fish ~ Canned Tomato Products ~ Cereals and Oatmeal (NOT sugary kinds) ~ Pastas (Boxed Mixes & Packages of Noodles) ~ Dry Goods – like Toilet Paper, Bar & Laundry Soap (small- and medium-sized), Toothpaste, Toothbrush
What NOT to donate:
No home canned items. Nothing that has been opened.
A $$ money donation can be given to Cashmere Presbyterian Church with “Food Bank” written in the memo section.
The Clothes Closet
Our Clothes Closet is in the Church’s basement. Free clothing is given away on the fourth Wednesdays of the Month from 2:00-4:30 pm.
If you are in need of clothing/shoes come see us! Everything is free. If you and your family are in need of clothing, stop on by at 303 Maple Street, Cashmere, WA. We have lots to offer!
